Two Content Articles/Photoshoots:
605 visited two South Dakota farms for 605 Tries where the team saw the process of planting corn and the story behind the family businesses. The second content piece was a visit to a Groton farm for 605 Stops By to meet the family and give a pork recipe for the November Food & Drink Issue. Each story came with shared copyright to the photo galleries.
Two Instagram Reels were created to capture behind the scenes of 605’s team at both of the 605 Tries farms set to fun music.
Social Media Video
As 605 visited the first two farms, a video was also created to talk about the importance of farming through the eyes of the farmers themselves to humanize the process. This included drone footage.
The 605 Show Podcast
605 had farmers from SD Corn on episode 45 of The 605 Show podcast. This episode was live streamed on 605’s Facebook page, along with having promotions on all social media platforms and sharing clips of the episode throughout the month. Audio of the podcast was also available on all podcast platforms.
SD Corn told the story of “it all starting with a seed” with their 6-page centerfold in an issue of 605. This was the announcement of their new campaign.

Farmers representing SD Corn appeared on a live stream episode of The 605 Show to chat about harvest, the new marketing campaign, and to play a game with the hosts. This was also cut into social media clips and shared throughout the month, as well as being available on podcast audio and having an episode recap on 605magazine.com.
